BROOKE HOUSE COLLEGE

A-levels, GCSE, Foundation program, Football and Motorsports academy

Brooke House College is a small international tutorial boarding school for boys and girls, founded in 1960, and located in the small and very safe market town of Market Harborough, an hour and ten minutes by train north of London, and 15 minutes south of Leicester city. The College has about 250 students most of whom are studying for their A-Levels.

Students live in the College's boarding houses located inside the campus and near the College. They can choose to stay at British homes if they so desire. Recreational and sports activities are held both on campus and in the town sports centre near the College.

Brooke House has a progressive attitude towards pre-university education, which combines hard work with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Its aims are high academic standards and the pastoral care and development of young people that will prepare them for the freedom and responsibility of university and adult life. Brooke House allows students to develop their potential to the full. For the most able students, this will mean top grades and a place at a top university, but over its 50 year history, Brooke House has taken equal pride in drawing the best out of less able students.

Teaching is done in small groups of 8-10 students on average. A distinguishing characteristic of Brooke House is that it is very flexible, and special individual needs can be catered to.  Many of the teaching staff have been school inspectors and GCSE/A-Level examiners.

Brooke House also runs two special programs - a football and motor sports academy.  At both academies, students will learn the skills required for their future profession in the mornings and academic studies in the afternoons.

Brooke House also runs a very successful 1-year business studies and engineering studies Foundation Course for students who do not wish to take A-Levels.

The all-inclusive fees for tuition and boarding is £35,700 per year (2020/21)
